The SIMAGIC DS-8X is an advanced shifter that combines a classic H-pattern layout with a sequential mode. It offers 8 forward gears, reverse and the ability to switch modes instantly – with no disassembly and no tools required. It is a solid, full-metal device built for drivers who expect realism, durability and versatility.

Full metal construction

The housing is made from CNC-machined aluminum with a reinforced steel core.
DS-8X is built to withstand hard use – stable, durable and precise, even under aggressive shifting.

Hybrid operation – H-Pattern and Sequential

With a single lever movement you can switch the shifter from H-pattern to sequential mode.
No disassembly, no extra adapters – just flip the lever and drive.

6+2+R+SQ layout – maximum flexibility

The DS-8X offers:

• 6 main gears

• 2 additional gears (7th and 8th)

• Reverse gear (R)

• Sequential mode (SQ)

A special pull-out gear lock protects 7th, 8th and reverse from being engaged by mistake.

Adjustable shift strength

You can adjust the shift resistance to match your preferred feel.
The internal components are designed for enhanced fatigue resistance and long-lasting elasticity, even after many hours of driving.

Replaceable gear knobs

DS-8X supports multiple gear knobs, so you can:

• go for a rally-style feel,

• keep a classic H-pattern look,

• or prefer a GT-oriented grip.

Multiple mounting options

The shifter can be mounted directly to your rig or via an optional L-plate bracket (sold separately).

Plug & Play – no drivers required

DS-8X connects via USB Type-A and works in Plug & Play mode.
No driver software is required. It is also compatible with third-party gear knob replacements.
