This product is designed to prevent heat radiation from your turbo. It is designed to withstand the most extreme conditions.
It protects your engine components but also allows lower air intake temperatures. It isolates the hot side of the turbo from the cold side and the air intake.
You will notice that the cover will lose its flexibility and will become rigid after a few cycles of use. Therefore, you should not remove it too regularly to avoid damaging it.
This allows more oxygen to reach the motor and therefore more performance.
