Oem LSD Preload shim (belleville washer) set 168mm for BMW E30 E36 E34

The frequent problem of ZF Limited slip differentials found in BMW E30, E36, E34 etc. is preload shims (Belleville washers) loosening their spring load or being damaged due to overheating. Therefore, replacing them when re-building your LSD is strongly recommended. These shims are 30% stronger than the originals, so your LSD performance will increase significantly. Higher pre-load delivers better lock/traction. Besides spring washers, we do recommend changing clutch plates, as they are the main cause of differential overheating. They are extra hardened to 55 HRC for greater longevity and enhanced performance. There are 3 different sizes. If you are not sure about the best fit, simply send us your VIN and we will check it for you. Note: 210mm prelaod shims doesn't fit GKN E46/E92/E60/E63/Z4 M differentials.
