Camshafts change the performance characteristics of the engine - improving the power and torque curve engine. Among the sports camshafts produced in Swiatek company we distinguish types:
Depending on the type of roller, additional modifications are necessary to achieve correct operation
GT – camshafts designed for daily use of the car. Engine tuning on a dynamometer recommended (chip-tuning). Increase in power and torque of approximately 10%.
GT/R – heavy camshaft GT. Engine tuning on a dynamometer required. Increase in power and torque of approximately 10-20%.
R – rally camshafts, geared to higher power and torque in the higher rpm range. Sporty gear ratios etc. and engine tuning on the dynamometer
W – racing camshafts, improve power and torque to the maximum. Alterations similar to those for rally camshafts. Power performance of over 100 hp from a 1000 cc engine.
