Leather Expert Repair Kit – leather repair kit

A set of professional and effective products designed for leather repair. The set is ready for immediate use. It has been equipped with the highest quality products and all the necessary tools for repair.

The set includes:

• 50ml Leather Binder
• 50ml Leather Glue
• 25ml Leather Filler
• 25ml Leather Flexi Filler

1. Leather Glue – flexible polyurethane-based leather glue. Glue the leather from the grain side. For larger damages, you can use the thin canvas included in the kit or thin leather for gluing. Extremely efficient with very high adhesion (adhesion).
2. Leather Binder – a binder for connecting and strengthening leather fibers. A product designed for weakened natural leathers. The product penetrates deep into the leather and binds loose fibers. Apply three thin layers of Leather Binder to the damaged area with a sponge, drying each layer. Sand smoothly with sandpaper. Repeat if necessary.
3. Leather Filler – elastic paste for repairing damage and retouching leather and vinyl. Leather Filler is a product that will fill all gaps, holes, scratches, cuts in leather. Leather Filler should be applied to dry leather using the spatula included in the set. In the case of deep gaps, try to fill them gradually, in thin layers. Each layer should be well dried. Can be sanded with sandpaper.
4. Leather Flexi Filler – elastic paste for filling in gaps in leather in the most frequently used places. Liquid leather is a product designed to fill shallow gaps on large surfaces, scratches, cracks and scrapes. After drying, it becomes colorless. The product should be applied to dry leather using the included spatula. Liquid leather may shrink after drying, then another layer should be applied, we try to fill the recesses gradually. Each layer should be dried well. You cannot sand with sandpaper.
5. Leather Expert Degreasing Wipe – a tissue for degreasing leather surfaces

   Professional tissue for quick and effective degreasing of leather surfaces before painting.

   Removing grease and dirt from the leather surface improves the adhesion of the paint and finishing varnish and therefore the durability of the repair.

   Do not use on suede or nubuck.

Tips:

Once the repair work has been completed using the Leather Repair Kit, proceed to the colouring process to restore the colour of the repaired leather.

Step 1. Degrease the leather with Leather Degreasing Wipe.

Step 2. Apply the appropriate Leather Colourant color to the prepared leather using a sponge/spray gun/brush. Apply several layers of paint. Each layer should be thoroughly dried.

Step 3. After the paint has dried, apply a clear Leather Top Coat. Apply 3-4 thin layers using a sponge or spray gun. Each layer should be thoroughly dried. To increase the durability of the coating, add 5% Cross Linker.

The entire procedure should be performed at room temperature 15-25ºC
