A gravity-operated ball check valve is a reliable safety device for fuel systems. It remains open in a vertical position and automatically closes when tilted by at least 90 degrees — the ball inside the valve gravitationally cuts off the fuel supply. It prevents fuel leakage in situations such as vehicle rollover. Made of lightweight and durable aluminum, it is designed for vertical installation in AN12 fuel lines. Compatible with all types of fuel, including methanol and E85.

How it works

• Open in vertical position: The valve remains open when positioned vertically, allowing free flow of fuel.

• Automatic shut-off: When the valve tilts by 90 degrees or more, the internal ball shifts due to gravity and blocks the fuel flow, preventing leakage.
