Coolerworx Short Shifter for Renault Clio RS III Naked NSB OEM Standard Purple
The Coolerworx Naked NSB Short Shifter for Renault Clio RS III with OEM shifter cables was developed for Clio RS197 and RS200 owners who want the characteristic Coolerworx mechanical shifting feel in a simpler and more accessible configuration. This version retains the essential engineering principles of the NSB series while being designed specifically to work with the vehicle’s standard OEM control cables.
The Naked NSB shifter connects directly to the factory gear selector cables. No upgraded cables, additional components or modifications are required for the basic installation. During development and testing, the OEM cables operated all gears reliably, making this version a practical plug-and-play upgrade for road cars and everyday use.
The shifter features a raw aluminium finish without anodizing. Visible machining marks and the natural aluminium surface create the distinctive Naked Series appearance, emphasizing the functional design and mechanical construction of the product.
Although this version uses the original shifter cables, it retains the core characteristics expected from the Coolerworx NSB range: precise mechanical gear engagement, rigid aluminium construction and clean installation beneath the factory interior plastics. The mechanism was developed specifically around the dimensions and requirements of the Renault Clio III RS platform.
Installation requires no cutting or trimming of the original interior components. The mechanism fits beneath the factory plastics, allowing the interior to remain intact while upgrading the shifting experience.
