The Coolerworx Thermoplastic "Thermo Guard" Shifter Knob is a lightweight replacement and upgrade knob designed for drivers who want a more temperature-stable alternative to aluminium gear knobs. It is suitable for both hot and cold environments where metal knobs can become uncomfortable to touch.

The knob is CNC-machined from Duracon thermoplastic, also known as Delrin, a hard and durable engineering material with low thermal conductivity. This helps the surface remain more comfortable to the touch across a wide range of ambient temperatures.

Its lightweight construction, smooth surface finish and ergonomic form make it suitable for everyday road use as well as more demanding performance applications.

Important: before ordering, check that your Coolerworx shifter handle has a threaded end. Some early Coolerworx shifters were produced without a thread on the handle and are not compatible with this knob.
