The selected application point must be located downstream of the turbocharger to prevent the cleaner from flowing back towards the engine.

Directions for use

1. Locate a suitable access point to the particulate filter.

2. Insert the applicator tube directly into the filter through the metal differential pressure sensor line, temperature sensor opening or oxygen sensor opening.

3. Make sure the selected sensor or line is located downstream of the turbocharger to prevent the cleaner from flowing back into the engine.

4. Spray the entire contents of the can directly into the particulate filter.

5. Refit the disconnected components.

6. Leave the product to work for 10–30 minutes.

7. Start the engine and allow it to idle for 5 minutes.

8. Then maintain the engine speed at 2000–2500 rpm for a further 5 minutes.

9. If the MAF air flow sensor was disconnected, reconnect it.

10. Clear any stored fault codes.

11. Reset the particulate filter data if required.

12. Carry out an extended road test.
