Short shifter Mazda MX-5 NA/NB 5 speed gearbox
Upgrade your Mazda MX-5 NA/NB with this high-performance short shifter for 5-speed gearboxes. Perfect for track or spirited street driving, it delivers faster, more precise shifts while keeping your factory H-pattern fully functional.
What is a short shifter?
A short throw shifter reduces the distance between gear changes to deliver faster, more precise, and sportier shifts. Its taller design shortens travel from the steering wheel to the knob, enabling quicker gear changes. It ranks among the most effective upgrades for both race and street cars. Providing drivers with sharper feedback, better control, greater confidence behind the wheel, and an authentic, connected driving experience that makes you feel one with your car.

- Direct installation – Fits original gearbox mounting; full bolt-on package for easy DIY installation
- H-pattern compatibility – Maintains OEM gearbox function
- Precision bearings – Smooth angular and rotational movement for accurate shifts
- Performance-oriented design – Gear lever is longer and positioned closer to the steering wheel for faster, more convenient shifting

- Low-friction design – Teflon-coated sliding inserts
