The professional heat shield Inconel FMIC.Pro is widely used in motorsport. It is ideal for insulating high temperatures from exhaust system components, such as manifolds, downpipes, mufflers, catalytic converters and turbochargers. 

Inconel, from which the heat shield is made, significantly exceeds with its properties similar shields made of stainless steel while a thick layer of ceramic matting additionally insulates the temperature. 

Higher resistance to high temperatures has made it possible to reduce the thickness of the heat shield, which in combination with embossing makes it much easier to form and fit the sheet to the insulated element.
