Purelux Black X-Slim S180 Gen2 is part of the updated Black X-Slim LED Bar series, offering premium quality at an accessible price. The light bar has been upgraded both externally and internally: the S180 Gen2 now features two different power modes, and the beam pattern has been further refined for even better performance. Thanks to the dual power modes, the light bar can be used either in a road-approved mode or in the powerful Purelux PowerBoost® mode intended for off-road use.

Even in the road-legal mode, the S180 Gen2 delivers significantly more light output than its predecessor. When PowerBoost® is activated, the measured light output reaches up to 1751 lumens, with an impressive measured range of 356 meters at 1 lux for a light bar of this size.

Note: The difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and the road-approved mode is clearly noticeable. PowerBoost® is significantly more powerful and must only be used off-road, not in public traffic.

The beam pattern of the S180 Gen2 is ideal for dark and winding roads. A strong long-range hotspot in the center is combined with a wide beam that spreads evenly to both sides, illuminating the road edge to edge. The flat beam profile, created by updated reflectors, ensures that light is not wasted close to the vehicle or upwards. The color temperature is 5700 K, providing clear and comfortable visibility.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the S180 Gen2 is well suited for discreet installations, such as recessed mounting in the grille or behind body panels. It is also ideal for installations where two smaller light bars are mounted side by side.

The slim and elegant design is complemented by a black housing and dark optics. The housing is made of powder-coated aluminum, and the lens is manufactured from virtually unbreakable polycarbonate. The frameless lens design prevents snow, ice, and dirt from accumulating on the surface. The light bar is fully sealed against dust and water according to IP69K.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the DT-2 connector on the power cable. Adjustable bottom and end brackets are included, providing versatile mounting options. The wide operating voltage range (9–32 V) allows installation in both 12 V and 24 V systems. The lamp is radio-interference protected according to ECE R10.
