These days, engine tuning is pushing machines harder and further, and under certain conditions the vehicle runs the risk of receiving poorly cooled air, and seeing its efficiency and power drop. With this in mind, Forge developed PolarCoolers, the first auxiliary cooling systems for Audi RS6 and RS7 (C7 platform). Following road and bench tests with 3 water radiators from different manufacturers, Forge has developed the ultimate in water cooling.

The benefits of PolarCoolers:

• A 100% capacity increase using a 22 fpi (fins per inch) grid for maximum cooling.
• The PolarCooler retains the standard charge radiator, but feeds a front-mounted auxiliary radiator.
• This design means there are no obstructions, i.e. the condenser doesn't affect the radiator's performance. It is not directly in front of the water radiator, but at the end of the sequence.
• This unique design enables intake temperatures to be reduced by 20° over 3 consecutive runs on the test bench.
• Forge's PolarCooler retains the standard bleed screw on the original radiator.
• The PolarCooler has no additional expansion tank, as the standard system uses a non-return valve that opens only if the water level drops, and recovers water as it evaporates.
• All Forge cooling hoses have been designed to include an expanding inner layer of modified silicone called Fluorosilicone.
• This inner layer allows the use of long-life, organic acid-based (OAT) coolants, or air with oil vapors. The use of Fluorosilicone makes Forge hoses the best, the longest-lasting and the preferred choice of enthusiasts.
• The construction of these hoses has been designed to outperform production hoses. They will enhance any engine both technically and aesthetically.
• The Polar Cooler comes complete with all the components needed for assembly, including a modified crash bar and silicone hoses, plus a black powder-coat finish on the hand-crafted tanks and crash bar.

This product has been designed, developed and manufactured entirely in the UK and is covered by Forge's lifetime warranty.
