Wilwood EPB Parking Brake Wiring Harness 610-16178

Wilwood 610-16178 is a dedicated wiring harness designed for the Wilwood EPB electronic parking brake system using a single caliper. The harness allows the EPB caliper, controller and switch to be connected into a complete electronic parking brake system.

The product is equipped with prepared connectors for the ECU controller, EPB caliper and parking brake switch, simplifying installation and reducing the need to prepare individual connections between system components. The harness is compatible with the Wilwood 620-16177 controller, designed for single EPB caliper configurations.

The wiring harness also features fuse protection, while the wires are enclosed in a protective plastic sleeve. The sleeve protects the installation and helps organize the routing of the wiring inside the vehicle.

Individual wires in the harness are labelled, making correct installation easier. According to Wilwood instructions, most wires can be shortened or extended to adapt the installation to a specific vehicle. However, the manufacturer does not recommend extending the BATTERY (+) and GND wires. When extending other wires, the same wire gauge as used in the original harness should be maintained.

The harness has been designed for use in various vehicles, so its routing should be individually adapted during installation. The wires should be kept away from moving components, high-temperature sources and areas where they could be pinched or damaged.
