The Athena Cut Ring Racing Head Gasket is the result of continuous research and development aimed at meeting the steadily increasing demands for higher performance, maximum sealing, and resistance to extreme thermal and mechanical stress typical of motorsports and drag racing. With a thickness of 1.20 mm and a bore diameter of 93.50 mm, this gasket is designed for high-pressure engine applications.

Cut Ring Technology: Combines excellent high-pressure sealing with separate recessed rings, known as Cooper Rings, eliminating the need for irreversible engine block modifications for ring seats.

Reinforced Motorgasket Body: A steel core covered with two layers of asbestos-free aramid fibre, developed by Athena’s R&D department, providing excellent thermal and mechanical resistance while maintaining perfect adaptability to cylinder head and block mating surfaces.

Silicone Beading: Applied to critical sealing areas such as oil and coolant passages to ensure maximum sealing reliability in all operating conditions.

Stainless Steel Cut Ring Support Rings (AISI 304): Ensure maximum sealing capacity around the cylinder bores with no loss of compression, even in extreme applications such as NOS and/or turbocharged engines where boost exceeds 2 bar.
