The Racing Athena head gaskets are the result of constant research and development to meet the steadily increasing demands for higher performance, maximum sealing, and resistance to extreme thermal and mechanical stress typical of motorsports and drag racing.

Key Features

Cut Ring Technology: Combines the advantages of excellent high-pressure sealing with separate recessed rings, known as Cooper Rings, eliminating the need for irreversible engine block modifications for ring seats.

Reinforced Motorgasket Body: Manufactured from Motorgasket, a reinforced material developed by the Athena R&D Department, consisting of a steel core covered with two layers of asbestos-free aramid fibre. This construction provides excellent thermal and mechanical resistance while maintaining perfect adaptability to cylinder head and block mating surfaces.

Silicone Beading: Applied to critical sealing areas such as oil and coolant passages to ensure maximum sealing reliability under all operating conditions.

Stainless Steel Cut Ring Support Rings (AISI 304): Ensure maximum sealing capacity around the cylinder bores with no loss of compression, even for engines with extreme applications such as NOS and/or turbocharged engines where boost exceeds 2 bar.
