ZRP Standard Intake Black Nitrided Valves are engineered for the legendary Toyota 3.0L 2JZ engine, including the 2JZ-GTE platform used in the Supra. Designed to withstand high boost pressure, elevated cylinder temperatures, and sustained high-RPM operation, these valves provide exceptional durability and consistent performance in both street and motorsport applications.

Manufactured from one-piece forged high-grade stainless steel (EV8 / 21-4N), these intake valves undergo a specialized black nitriding process. This advanced surface hardening technology diffuses nitrogen into the outer layer of the valve, significantly increasing wear resistance and fatigue strength while reducing friction between the valve stem and guide due to the smoother surface finish.

Unlike localized chrome coatings, the entire valve – including both the stem and head – receives the black nitriding treatment, ensuring uniform hardness and improved long-term reliability under demanding operating conditions.

Each valve is precision forged and CNC-machined, polished, and tip hardened to ensure maximum durability and dimensional accuracy. Tight tolerances for stem concentricity, straightness, and sealing surface finish guarantee proper valve seating and stable operation even in high-performance turbocharged builds.
